Privacy policy
A plain-language description of how this site behaves. It is not legal advice. Before relying on it commercially, the operator must add its verified legal identity and obtain review for the jurisdictions it serves.
Who this site is for
Minutes Game is a general-audience puzzle site intended for players aged 13 and over. It is not directed to younger children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a younger child has provided information through this site, contact us and we will remove it.
How your consent is collected
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, consent is collected through a Google-certified consent management platform. That platform records your choices and publishes them as standard industry signals, which Google's advertising and measurement tags read directly. Everywhere else this site shows its own privacy panel instead. Only one of the two appears, so you are never asked twice.
Information we never ask for
We do not request or store your real name, date of birth, email address, postal address, phone number, photograph, voice recording, precise location, contact list or any government identifier. Display names are selected from a fixed word list, so free text cannot be entered anywhere in the interface.
Information stored on your device
Your chosen display name and badge, game results, streaks, best times, badges earned, your privacy choices and, where shown, a coarse age bracket are saved in ordinary browser storage on your own device. A randomly generated local identifier keeps those records together. It is not an advertising identifier and it is never transmitted to us.
Advertising
This site is funded by Google advertising. Google may set cookies or similar identifiers to serve and measure ads, and to limit how often you see the same ad. If you allow personalised advertising, Google may use data associated with your browser to select more relevant ads. If you decline, requests are marked as non-personalised, or the equivalent signal is passed through the certified platform where that applies.
Changing a consent decision
Where the certified platform applies, reopen it from the privacy link in the consent notice to change or withdraw your choices, and Google's tags will follow the updated signal. Where this site's own panel applies, use the privacy button in the settings control. Either way the change takes effect on the next page load.
Measurement
If you allow measurement, Google Analytics records anonymous usage such as which pages and games are opened, session length and approximate country. IP anonymisation is enabled. Advertising signals are withheld from Analytics unless you allowed personalised advertising. Declining measurement means no analytics script is loaded at all.
Google as a third party
Google acts as an independent provider for advertising and analytics and processes data under its own terms. You can review and change Google's ad personalisation settings for your account at any time through Google's own controls, independently of this site.
No accounts, chat or user content
There is no sign-in, no cloud save, no chat, messaging, comment field or upload. Nothing you do here becomes visible to other players.
No purchases
There are no in-app purchases and no currency that can be bought. Scores, streaks, badges and virtual lives have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged or redeemed.
Sharing a result
Choosing to share creates an image or short text on your device and hands it to your operating system's share sheet, or saves it locally. It contains the puzzle number, attempts, time, streak and the shape of your chain, and no personal information. A challenge link contains only a randomly generated puzzle seed.
Retention and deletion
Information saved on your device remains until you remove it. Use Reset everything on the Stats page, clear site data in your browser, or uninstall the installed app. Data held by Google for advertising and analytics is retained under Google's own policies.
Security
No browser storage mechanism is permanent or completely secure, and information saved on a shared device may be visible to other people using it. Because we never request personal information, the practical exposure is limited to game progress.
Changes to this policy
Material changes will be dated on this page. Any change that introduces a new provider or a new category of collection will be published here before it takes effect.
